This is the most amazing mash-up I’ve ever heard. It’s brilliant, moving, and seamless. And I feel certain that both artists would be proud of the result of their own art being fused into such a gorgeous reinterpretation. (video after the bump)
You know, I should probably talk about how things like this can’t be created if copyright laws continue to get more stringent, and how fair use needs to expand to include derivative works when those derivative works are substantially different from the original, and so on, but… F**k it.
